Home Movie Day is a celebration of amateur films and filmmaking held annually at many local venues worldwide. Home Movie Day events provide the opportunity for individuals and families to see and share their own home movies with an audience of their community, and to see their neighbors’ in turn. It’s a chance to discover why to care about these films and to learn how best to care for them.
UCF Film’s Home Movie Day is a free event, open to the public.  Bring your 8mm, Super8, or 16mm films, and have them cleaned and screened for an avid audience of friends and neighbors.  At the end of the event, participants have the option of donating their films to UCF’s Home Movie Archive, where they will be professionally maintained to educate and enrich the community for years to come.  All accepted films will be transferred onto DVD, a copy of which will be provided to the donor free of charge as a token of our appreciation.
Free food and beverages will be available.
